Copper Wire Rod 8.0 mm
1. Copper Wire Rod (8 mm)
Packaging and Shipment:
Copper wire rods are supplied in coils secured on wooden pallets. For maximum protection during transit, coils are bound with steel or plastic strapping and wrapped in high-durability plastic film (nylon) to prevent oxidation and environmental damage.
2. Stranded Copper Wires
Produced using high-precision single-wire or multi-wire drawing machines, our stranded products are available in bare, tin-plated, or nickel-plated finishes. We manufacture a variety of geometric structures—including normal strand, rope-lay, unilay, concentric, and smooth-bunch—tailored to customer specifications and international standards.
Technical Specifications & Range
| Stranding Type | Cross-Sectional Area (mm2) | AWG / MCM Equivalent |
| Double Twist | $0.05 mm^2$ – $50 mm^2$ | 30 AWG – 5 AWG |
| Single Twist | Max. $120 mm^2$ | 250 MCM |
| Rope-Lay | Max. $400 mm^2$ | 800 MCM |
Equipment utilized: Double Twist, Single Twist, Planetary, and Rigid stranding machines.
3. Multi-Wire
Inlet wires from coarse drawing or plating processes are further reduced in diameter using state-of-the-art multi-wire drawing machines. Depending on the final application and customer requirements, the finished product is wound using dynamic or static spooling methods.
4. Single Wire
Our single-wire products are classified as bare, tin-plated, or nickel-plated. Using 8 mm copper rod as the base material, the wire is drawn through single-wire machines to reach specific fine diameters.
